This information leaflet has been done by the Sjögren’s Syndrome Romande Association (Switzerland) with the remarks, suggestions and corrections of Fabienne Gay-Crosier, MD, specialist in immunology and internal medicine in Carouge (Geneva).

The list of abnormalities and problems linked to Sjögren’s Syndrome is not exhaustive.

“Abnormalities” correspond to elements rather commonly acknowledged as “diagnoses”. They are medical terms that the patients could hear around them and read in their medical records. “Problems” rather correspond to descriptions, symptoms and how the patients feel.
